Elon Musk: Not the Smartest guy during a Pandemic?!
Updated: Jun 26, 2020
Elon Musk, definitely a genius and also someone who is adored by his millions of followers on the internet due to his strong twitter game and charismatic personality. The brain behind companies like Tesla and SpaceX is not your stereotypical introverted nerd. Whether it’s asking his followers for the dankest of memes, guest appearing on leading YouTuber Pewdiepie’s Meme review or smoking weed on the Joe Rogan Podcast, even with his busy schedule Musk takes out time to do it all.
Elon, 48, recently welcomed his son into the world with his girlfriend Grimes and in true Elon fashion gave him the most astounding name, X Æ A-12, now X Æ A-Xii which according to the new-born’s father is pronounced as – X Ash A-12.
Moving on, While he is a very smart human being but he is still a human and no human is designed to be perfect. Just like everyone, Elon Musk comes with some flaws. The CEO of Tesla is responsible for the plummeting of Tesla’s stock due to his controversial tweets, more recently tweeting that he feels Tesla stock prices are “too high”.
Musk is known for making inappropriate tweets from time to time, once in 2018 calling Vernon Unsworth, a man who helped in the rescue of a kids soccer team that was trapped in a cave in Thailand, a “Pedo Guy” because Unsworth dismissed Musk’s initial idea for the rescue.
Despite the tweets and controversies people rally behind him because in the end he always contributes to doing something better for the planet, like donating USD 1 million worth of trees to Youtuber Mr.Beast’s campaign to raise USD million for planting trees.
But during this pandemic, Elon Musk has been failing to come off as the good guy. Since the very beginning when cases of the Coronavirus first started to come up in the US, Elon has disregarded the Virus as a big threat. He did not support the decision to put the country under lockdown even though the cases and death in the US were increasing daily and still wants that the economy should remain open to everyone and everything even when the US is the worst hit country during this pandemic.
It looks like the guy who has supported science his whole life is showing us his businessman side.
All of this took another step when Musk decided to restart the production in company’s factory in Fremont, California. In the tweet he added, “If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.”
All this came after the CEO of Tesla threatened to move the entire production facility out of Fremont if the company is not allowed to open up its factory. The fact that Tesla is the only car manufacturing plant that’s currently producing cars in California was bound to put a lot of pressure on the county officials as the company started its production soon after.
