Updated: Jun 28
Disclaimer! This recipe is not an authentic Pasta recipe. Instead, it is as simple as it can ever get. And the best part is it is going to be Spaghetti. With that out of the way let’s get started.
According to BBC, Pasta has topped a global survey of the world's favourite foods.
The authentic way is to boil the pasta until it’s al dente and prepare the sauce of your choice to go with it. But this pasta is going to cook in 10 mins that too in one pot!
Here we go.
You’ll need a couple of vegetables for the sauce; onions, garlic, cherry tomatoes. Slice the onions and garlic real thin, as thin as you could. You want to use a little more garlic than you think. Chop the cherry tomatoes roughly. Take a big pot/pan and put your Spaghetti in it. Do not we haven’t turned on the flame yet, we’re just going to assemble all the ingredients first. Place the onions, garlic, and cherry tomatoes beside the spaghetti. Season it all with some salt and pepper. Take a chili, slice it real thin then, and spread it all around. Then take some herbs. Oregano, basil, parsley. Store-bought powdered herbs will do. Spread all these herbs in the pot. Now, Olive oil! I can’t stress enough about how important olive oil is for Italian dishes. Drizzle the olive oil generously on all the ingredients in the pot. Add water until everything is covered with it. Turn on the flame, keep it on high, and let it cook for 10 mins. You have to continuously stir the pasta make sure everything comes together. After 10 mins you have this beautiful pasta with this rich sauce. Top it with some cheese. Mozzarella, Cheddar, Pecorino. Take your pick.
And there you have it! Spaghetti Pasta made in one pot with easily accessible ingredients in just 10 mins. Share this with someone who loves pasta and do try it yourself.
